Lovely property situated on the edge of the small hamlet of Metato high in the hills above the Versilia coast, inspiring views.

Il Fienile is situated on the edge of the small hamlet of Metato. This lovely semi-detached house has a large private terrace,a fabulous view and pretty hot tub. The hamlet of Metato is perched high in the hills above the Versilia coast and has changed little over the centuries.

Entry is into a small entrance hall where steps lead to an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a hob, oven and dishwasher. There is also a shower room on the ground floor. Stairs lead from the lounge area to the large double bedroom with fabulous views over the surrounding mountains and out to sea. There is a door leading from the bedroom to a small private terrace. A short stroll from this terrace is the private outdoor area whjich now has a lovely hot tub / plunge pool.

The owner of this property is a local architect and has restored the building with great care and he is passionate about the hamlet of Metato. He has a small cantina where he sells local produce including vegetables, olive oil and wine. In the village of Metato there is a small restaurant which is open three or four days each week. If you're looking for a slice of Tuscan heaven this is where you should head.
