Here’s what our guests say about Trullo Cavallerizza

I just want to say what an exceptional holiday we are having in Puglia . The villa / trullo has surpassed expectations in so many ways - the photos don’t do it justice at all . It is beautifully decorated, which we adore, the kitchen is remarkably well stocked with gorgeous china, which is very much appreciated. I know people ask for feedback but it’s always so difficult after one returns and the moment passes . We are having the most blissful time . The sun is shining, the food is sublime and the sea is heavenly. Thank you . August 2024

We enjoyed our holiday and found the villa very cared for, Chris visiting us with a bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The villa was beautiful, quirky and was a perfect spot to relax which is what we needed. August 2023

We had a marvellous holiday. The villa is stunning although the road to it is extremely narrow! The amenities in the villa were excellent. We would like to thank Chris for his assistance generally - nothing was too much trouble. July 2023

We had a great time thanks for helping us organize the trip and answering the same questions over and over again. We would definitely use your company again. Many thanks, June 2023

Thank you once again to The Essential Italy team for facilitating a relaxing, memorable holiday. The villa was stunning - above and beyond expectations. Our night with Sophie Grigson was a top recommendation - Truly delicious food!! July 2022

Trullo Cavallerizza stands on a gorgeous and quiet location, isolated by old olive groves that surround it as far as the eye can see. It is also close to towns to get quality supplies or have a drink and a good meal. The trullo's layout is quirky as it's an old structure, but it's been re-done to strike a fine balance between rusticity, convenience and good taste: beautiful without ostentation. Our hostess, Ludovica, was superlatively friendly and helpful. For our group of shabby sybarites this was a thoroughly happy and fortunate choice. Do note that a car is required to get there and around, and that the road leading to the property entrance is pretty narrow, I would not try it on anything larger than a mid-size SUV, but that's part of the charm. There's enough to do and see in the area (picturesque towns, beaches), but the lure of staying home by the pool, undisturbed by anything other than the buzz of the cicadas or the occasional donkey bray is hard to resist.
