With the centre of Lecce so near, you can wander the narrow streets, browse the little shops and amaze at the magnificent architecture found throughout the town of course food and wine is on offer everywhere so should you need a rest in the sunshine with a glass of cool wine and a tasty snack then you have a huge choice of bars and restaurant to pick from.

Alternatively, you can buy some appetising local fare and wander back to Santa Marta where you can try your hand at making your own tasty dishes, enjoyed in the privacy of your own home or on the terrace in the warm Pugliese air.
